Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rateb Thabit took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Tod getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fares Fahmy hit a great ball. Aino Saleh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Nasir Ramadan made a huge save. If Yehia El-Sayed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Refaat Moheb during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Tod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Refaat Moheb to maneuver through the defense. Aemara Zagloul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yehia El-Sayed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tod's Fares Fahmy got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Fares Fahmy off the ground. The supporters of Mutubis booed when Tod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fares Fahmy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Mamdouh, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aemara Zagloul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yehia El-Sayed in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Mutubis getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mubarak Ibrahim hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Aino Saleh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Mutubis getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Medhat Shehta hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Tod's Tawfeek El-Ghandour shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nasir Ramadan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tod reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Mutubis's zone, Rasheed Mourad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasir Ramadan came out of the goal and Rasheed Mourad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tawfeek El-Ghandour charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tawfeek El-Ghandour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mutubis booed when Tod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tawfeek El-Ghandour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aemara Zagloul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rateb Thabit, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aino Saleh was the one to do the kick off. Rateb Thabit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aemara Zagloul having to interfere. If Rateb Thabit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mutubis getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rateb Thabit hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rateb Thabit in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aemara Zagloul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Aino Saleh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasir Ramadan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aino Saleh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nasir Ramadan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nasir Ramadan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasheed Mourad in the 79th minute of play. Aino Saleh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play, Tod's Nayef Ramzy made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nasir Ramadan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nayef Ramzy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aemara Zagloul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rateb Thabit, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Tod getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nayef Ramzy hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tod fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mutubis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
