Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sallam Emam kicked off to start the match. Atef Marwan charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atef Marwan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Halawa getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Atef Marwan hit a great ball. When Mamdouh Mustafa came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Qatta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mamdouh Mustafa couldn't finish the play. Hany Amr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mahgoub Nayef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tamer Kamouna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sallam Emam in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Halawa's Aebeed Medhat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamer Kamouna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hany Amr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mahgoub Nayef made a huge save. Tamer Kamouna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aebeed Medhat, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Hany Amr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahgoub Nayef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Nasir Islam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qatta the free kick. After the first half Halawa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Halawa's Nasir Islam got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mamdouh Mustafa in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahgoub Nayef saved Halawa from getting behind. Atef Mazhar kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Halawa's zone, Mamdouh Mustafa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahgoub Nayef came out of the goal and Mamdouh Mustafa tried to chip the ball over his head.
