Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aaser Medhat got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaser Medhat in the 5th minute of play forced Abbasa's goalkeeper Kamal El-Yamani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Samata booed when Abbasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayoub Hazem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Samata were awarded a corner. Refaat Ameer went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Samata's corner Refaat Ameer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kamal El-Yamani quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samata's zone, Maher Nagy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farouk Refaat came out of the goal and Maher Nagy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maher Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farouk Refaat having to interfere. Basyouny El-Shater kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Basyouny El-Shater mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samata and the Abbasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Samata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basyouny El-Shater to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Samata's goal looked a bit too open when Serag Fahmy came free, but Farouk Refaat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maher Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farouk Refaat having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Aaser Medhat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Maher Nagy came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Abbasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maher Nagy couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Abbasa's Serag Fahmy got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Aaser Medhat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Abbasa's zone, Ezz Maher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal El-Yamani came out of the goal and Ezz Maher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezz Maher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kamal El-Yamani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serag Fahmy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaser Medhat struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kamal El-Yamani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samata. Kamal El-Yamani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaser Medhat in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Samata's Aaser Medhat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kamal El-Yamani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 83 minutes into the match, Abbasa's goal looked a bit too open when Ezz Maher came free, but Kamal El-Yamani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aaser Medhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamal El-Yamani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezz Maher, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Aaser Medhat notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Abbasa's Kamal El-Yamani. Kamal El-Yamani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samata's goalkeeper Farouk Refaat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Waheed Ashraf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbasa the free kick. Samata's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
