If Mamdouh Abdel Haleem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amr Mortada succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Medhat Nasir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moamen Hafez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mamdouh Abdel Haleem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moamen Hafez in the 23rd minute of play forced Tamalay's goalkeeper Medhat Nasir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mamdouh Abdel Haleem in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Medhat Nasir saved Tamalay from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Tamalay's Yousif Raslan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Hisham Badr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yousif Raslan in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Amr Mortada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hisham Badr. Qara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amr Mortada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Amr Mortada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yousif Raslan might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hisham Badr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yousif Raslan ran back to his position shaking his head. Amr Mortada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hisham Badr made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Tamalay's zone, Mamdouh Abdel Haleem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medhat Nasir came out of the goal and Mamdouh Abdel Haleem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Yousif Raslan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hazem Salah hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Qara's Mamdouh Abdel Haleem got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tamalay's zone, Moamen Hafez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medhat Nasir came out of the goal and Moamen Hafez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yousif Raslan in the 69th minute of play forced Qara's goalkeeper Hisham Badr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tawfeek Waheed kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Hisham Badr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yousif Raslan in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moamen Hafez got free with Medhat Nasir in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Yousif Raslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hisham Badr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Tamalay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moamen Hafez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 96 minutes in the game, Mamdouh Abdel Haleem dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Tamalay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
