Thabit Zidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salem El-Sakka having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zamalek sc's goalkeeper Ramez Fadel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramez Fadel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sallam Nassef, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Zamalek sc's goal looked a bit too open when Sallam Nassef came free, but Ramez Fadel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramez Fadel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sallam Nassef in the 36th minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sallam Nassef who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zamalek sc's Ramez Fadel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thabit Zidan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Salem El-Sakka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zamalek sc's Ramez Fadel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shehta Marwan in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Zamalek sc's goal looked a bit too open when Shehta Marwan came free, but Ramez Fadel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match mohamedshahin got a corner. Zamalek sc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Desouqy Abdel Wahab ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 70 minutes, Emam Fayez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek sc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emam Fayez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Thabit Zidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thabit Zidan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salem El-Sakka firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 80th minute, Thabit Zidan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salem El-Sakka, passed just outside the right post. Thabit Zidan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Salem El-Sakka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to mohamedshahin getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mustafa Basem hit a great ball. mohamedshahin's Salem El-Sakka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save mohamedshahin from getting a goal against them. Salem El-Sakka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thabit Zidan in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thabit Zidan got free with Salem El-Sakka in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
