Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abbas Talaat got the match started through his kick off. Fares Rabie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Omar Samir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. بني سويف's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Samir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes, Abbas Talaat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fayyoum and the بني سويف players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Fayyoum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbas Talaat to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Abbas Talaat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mortada Nagy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fahmy Hatem's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mortada Nagy firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 17thth minute of the game Omar Samir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fayyoum's Hafez Gameel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. بني سويف's Fares Rabie got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gomaa Fayez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fares Rabie in the 28th minute of play forced Fayyoum's goalkeeper Hafez Gameel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fayyoum's Hafez Gameel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Samir in the 30th minute of play. Omar Samir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafez Gameel having to interfere. Rabie Ramzy hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fayyoum's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tamer El-Sayed was slow to take the kick. During this time بني سويف's players had a chance to rest. In the 41st minute, Abbas Talaat fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fahmy Hatem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mortada Nagy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abbas Talaat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes, Marwan Ezz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the بني سويف and the Fayyoum players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fayyoum booed when بني سويف was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marwan Ezz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Fayyoum's Fahmy Hatem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mortada Nagy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mortada Nagy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahmy Hatem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abbas Talaat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mortada Nagy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Fahmy Hatem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mortada Nagy. بني سويف's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fahmy Hatem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mortada Nagy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Abbas Talaat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Fahmy Hatem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abbas Talaat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
