The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Qalamahah's goal looked a bit too open when Moamen Nasir came free, but Shaker Radwan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Osama Abdel Masoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qalamahah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osama Abdel Masoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 6 in the game by Ramadan Shawky from a close distance when the talented Gameel Maged managed to make a qualified save. Abnub's players were relieved. Darweesh Abaza kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With his leg Gameel Maged managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Qalamahah's Ramadan Shawky fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute, Qalamahah's Ali Monzer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gameel Maged. Gameel Maged yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ramadan Shawky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gameel Maged tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Qalamahah getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mahgoub Tawfeek hit a great ball. Ramadan Shawky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gameel Maged made a huge save. Basel Moamen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gameel Maged having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Naguib Mubarak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abnub and the Qalamahah players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Naguib Mubarak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Qalamahah's Ramadan Shawky fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Osama Abdel Masoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ali Monzer put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gameel Maged. In the 40th minute, Shawky Ameer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qalamahah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gameel Maged took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramadan Shawky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ramadan Shawky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Moamen Nasir made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Basel Moamen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameel Maged saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Ramadan Shawky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameel Maged saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osama Abdel Masoud in the 57th minute of play forced Abnub's goalkeeper Gameel Maged to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Abnub got a freekick which was hit by Omar Fikry. If Ramadan Shawky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alaa Abaza might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gameel Maged. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alaa Abaza ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Ali Monzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gameel Maged. Abnub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Monzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After having played for 73 minutes, Ali Monzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qalamahah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Monzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gameel Maged stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Monzer's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Qalamahah's Ali Monzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gameel Maged narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute Ali Monzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameel Maged saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramadan Shawky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gameel Maged tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ali Monzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th match minute, Qalamahah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramadan Shawky to maneuver through the defense. Fahmy Kamal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gameel Maged. Abnub's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Qalamahah players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
