Talkha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barahma the free kick. The attack was good, but when Kamel Ayoub in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezzat Ghanem was the one to do the kick off.
