Ayoub Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th match minute, Nujum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramy Shams to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Ayoub Ahmed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Farouk Hamdy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Alaa during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nujum booed when Barahma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Alaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farouk Hamdy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramy Shams in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ramy Shams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nujum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramy Shams made a kick off. Ayoub Ahmed blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Farouk Hamdy having to make a save. Barahma's Fareed Darweesh couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nujum. With 75 minutes on the clock, Nizar Omar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barahma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Farouk Hamdy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ayoub Ahmed showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 81 minute of play. The supporters of Barahma booed when Nujum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position.
