Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Waheed Samir started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Mowafak Moheb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mansafis's zone, Hashem Hakeem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mamdouh Emad came out of the goal and Hashem Hakeem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mamdouh Emad came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Zirzarah's Gomaa Abdou. But to his dismay, Gomaa Abdou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Waheed Samir struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Galal Taher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansafis. 25 minutes into the game, Mansafis's Galal Amgad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Galal Taher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 40thth minute of the game Waheed Samir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zirzarah's Galal Taher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zirzarah's Galal Taher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waheed Samir in the 43rd minute of play. If Galal Amgad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hashem Hakeem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Zirzarah getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gomaa Abdou hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mansafis's Thabit Mazen tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Galal Amgad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Galal Taher was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Galal Amgad struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Galal Taher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansafis. Wael Farouk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohammed Talaat's late challenge caught a Zirzarah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammed Talaat helped the player get up and apologised. Mohammed Talaat hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Hashem Hakeem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mansafis's Mamdouh Emad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galal Taher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Galal Amgad's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Galal Amgad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zirzarah's Galal Taher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Zirzarah getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hosny Gomaa hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Zirzarah's goal looked a bit too open when Waheed Samir came free, but Galal Taher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galal Taher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galal Amgad, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Zirzarah:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mansafis:s goal. Galal Taher had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Thabit Mazen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zirzarah's Galal Taher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waheed Samir in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Galal Amgad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansafis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galal Amgad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zirzarah's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
