The supporters of Fowa booed when Gezai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monzer Shams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghali Abdou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zidan Taher having to interfere. Sallam Baher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabie El-hadary having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Gomaa Mahmoud made a precise shot to the right of Zidan Taher. Gezai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Fowa booed when Gezai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Salah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Fowa's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Salah came free, but Rabie El-hadary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Fowa got a freekick which was hit by Ghali Ayoub. If Anwar Desouqy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ghali Ayoub kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ghali Abdou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gezai's Zidan Taher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomaa Mahmoud in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamel Salah was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sallam Baher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gezai's supporters rose to their feet, but Sallam Baher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabie El-hadary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rabie El-hadary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sallam Baher in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Ghali Abdou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fowa's Ghali Ayoub got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ghali Abdou took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zidan Taher. Zidan Taher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Fowa's Saad Mortada got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A hard shot 74 in the game by Sallam Baher from a close distance when the talented Rabie El-hadary managed to make a qualified save. Fowa's players were relieved. Zidan Taher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghali Abdou, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Fowa's Rabie El-hadary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Salah in the 80th minute of play. Rabie El-hadary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamel Salah in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Fowa getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Saad Mortada hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Sallam Baher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gomaa Mahmoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Zidan Taher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gezai players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fowa.
