Samata's Zidan Hosny got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Zidan Hosny off the ground. A collision led to Samata getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zidan Hosny hit a great ball. Naguib Barakat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaser Kamel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Burhan Abbas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Naguib Barakat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Burhan Abbas sped through Samata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naguib Barakat. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Burhan Abbas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Naguib Barakat. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burhan Abbas to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gaser Kamel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaser Kamel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naguib Barakat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aino El-Domani might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naguib Barakat. When the referee ended the match the Liverpool FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
