Ezzat Mowafak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taher Tarek having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Abis's goal looked a bit too open when Othman El-Sakka came free, but Taher Tarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sallam Hafez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nader Shady. pharaons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sallam Hafez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute Othman El-Sakka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taher Tarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Taher Tarek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Osama Amgad came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Abis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osama Amgad couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Sallam Hafez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nader Shady was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of pharaons booed when Abis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thabit Moataz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abis's Taher Tarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Abis from getting a goal against them. Taher Tarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Othman El-Sakka, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamer Hosny in the 34th minute of play forced Abis's goalkeeper Taher Tarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abis's Taher Tarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Othman El-Sakka in the 35th minute of play. Nader Shady made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osama Amgad in the 38th minute of play. Ezzat Mowafak in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Taher Tarek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osama Amgad to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sallam Hafez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taher Tarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Othman El-Sakka in the 60th minute of play. Sallam Hafez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to pharaons getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fathy Moheb hit a great ball. Taher Tarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdel Monsef Yousry in the 73rd minute of play. Fathy Moheb lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 75th minute, one of pharaons:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for pharaons. The referee gave Abis a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mazhar Bakr, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of pharaons's Nader Shady. 1-3. 82 minutes into the match, pharaons's goal looked a bit too open when Osama Amgad came free, but Nader Shady reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sallam Hafez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Nader Shady made a huge save. Nader Shady was a little too slow when Osama Amgad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. Osama Amgad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nader Shady having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, pharaons's Ezzat Mowafak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taher Tarek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdel Monsef Yousry hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abis walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
