Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moheb Tarek in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayman Fikry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 played minutes Athribis got a freekick which was hit by Raouf El-Sayed. A collision led to Athribis getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Raouf El-Sayed hit a great ball. Kamal Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Amgad having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Ameen Abu Zeed got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ameen Abu Zeed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mohammed Amgad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ameen Abu Zeed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Amgad having to interfere. In the 21st minute Hamada Waheed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Fikry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayman Fikry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamada Waheed in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mallauri's zone, Kamal Nagy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Amgad came out of the goal and Kamal Nagy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Moheb Tarek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mallauri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Athribis the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Mallauri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moheb Tarek to maneuver through the defense. Ameen Abu Zeed struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mohammed Amgad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Athribis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamada Waheed in the 40th minute of play forced Athribis's goalkeeper Ayman Fikry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lateef Mahdy kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Yehia El-Sayed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamal Nagy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yehia El-Sayed in the 55th minute of play forced Athribis's goalkeeper Ayman Fikry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohammed Amgad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ameen Abu Zeed, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Athribis's zone, Yehia El-Sayed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayman Fikry came out of the goal and Yehia El-Sayed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamada Waheed who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Ayman Fikry when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Athribis's Mowafak Rateb got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute Kamal Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Amgad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamada Waheed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Mallauri getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Yehia El-Sayed hit a great ball. If Yehia El-Sayed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Raouf El-Sayed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kamal Nagy scored 1-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohammed Amgad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hamada Waheed came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Mallauri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamada Waheed couldn't finish the play. Mallauri's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
