Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amr Adham started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amr Adham in the 3rd minute of play forced Tamalai's goalkeeper Hisham Hossam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Dilunit's Basyouny Safwat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hisham Hossam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Basyouny Safwat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dilunit's supporters rose to their feet, but Basyouny Safwat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hisham Hossam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 minutes, Bahaa Salem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamalai and the Dilunit players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tamalai's Bahaa Salem got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Basyouny Safwat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Tamalai got a freekick which was hit by Bahaa Salem. The supporters of Dilunit booed when Tamalai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emad Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dilunit's Amr Adham in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tamalai's goalie prevented a goal. Emad Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Samir Ramadan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghanem Taimour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Emad Ali left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tamalai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Emad Ali struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Samir Ramadan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamalai. Tamalai's Emad Ali got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Dilunit's Samir Ramadan got control of the ball when Ghanem Taimour tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hisham Hossam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amr Adham in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedal Safwat in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hisham Hossam saved Tamalai from getting behind. Basyouny Safwat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hisham Hossam having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Tamalai's goal looked a bit too open when Amr Adham came free, but Hisham Hossam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amr Ibrahim during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Tamalai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amr Ibrahim to maneuver through the defense. Hisham Hossam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amr Adham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Othman El-Sakka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emam Alaa struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Samir Ramadan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamalai. If Basyouny Safwat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
