Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nawai's Fouad Fikry started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mostafa Samy got free with Saleh Aemara in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fouad Fikry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Saleh Aemara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match Talaat Ayman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamada Sallam skillfully saved the ball. If Gomaa Akram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Emam Mahgoub was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nawai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarsiqa the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fouad Fikry in the 17th minute of play forced Sarsiqa's goalkeeper Saleh Aemara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fouad Fikry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mostafa Samy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Saleh Aemara made a huge save. Sarsiqa's Saleh Aemara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fouad Fikry in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fouad Fikry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saleh Aemara. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. When Sarsiqa's Abdel Hameed Moamen in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nawai's Fouad Fikry got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gomaa Akram made a kick off. Emam Mahgoub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saleh Aemara having to interfere. Burhan Aaser hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Mostafa Samy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nawai's supporters rose to their feet, but Mostafa Samy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saleh Aemara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sarsiqa's Reda Nagy got a free kick in the 68th minute. Saleh Aemara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burhan Aaser, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Saleh Aemara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouad Fikry in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Abdel Hameed Moamen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hamada Sallam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Nawai's goalkeeper Hamada Sallam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdel Hameed Moamen. After a defensive mix-up in Nawai's zone, Abdel Hameed Moamen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamada Sallam came out of the goal and Abdel Hameed Moamen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rasheed Bahy fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarsiqa's protests and gave Rasheed Bahy a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Emam Mahgoub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nawai's supporters rose to their feet, but Emam Mahgoub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saleh Aemara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fouad Fikry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saleh Aemara having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nawai had played much better football throughout.
