Shaker Ghali didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Samer Ezz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarsiqa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dashlut the free kick. In the last second Hassan Abu Bakr throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gomaa Akram in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Hassan Abu Bakr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gomaa Akram in the 28th minute of the match. Serag Aebeed struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Saleh Aemara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dashlut. If Gomaa Akram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Nader Abdel Haleem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saleh Aemara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serag Aebeed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Serag Aebeed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dashlut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serag Aebeed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hazem Anwar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saleh Aemara having to interfere.
