Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Elmai's Rabie Abu Al Dahab started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mahgoub Fareed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Yassine having to interfere. Hafez Sameh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawky Hany having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Elmai's goal looked a bit too open when Emam Akram came free, but Shawky Hany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shawky Hany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emam Akram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aino Othman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Salah Yassine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahgoub Fareed in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Baher Ehab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabry Mohammed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Shawky Hany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mazen Shaker fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elmai's protests and gave Mazen Shaker a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Elmai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazen Shaker to maneuver through the defense. Mahgoub Fareed struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Salah Yassine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elmai. Rabie Abu Al Dahab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elmai's Shawky Hany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Elmai from getting a goal against them. If Emam Akram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Elmai's Shawky Hany got control of the ball when Sabry Mohammed tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emam Akram was the one to do the kick off. When Rabie Abu Al Dahab came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Elmai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabie Abu Al Dahab couldn't finish the play. Nudaybah's Aino Othman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Shawky Hany in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emam Akram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahgoub Fareed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Salah Yassine made a huge save. Emam Akram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawky Hany having to interfere. The supporters of Elmai booed when Nudaybah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samer Magdy didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elmai players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nudaybah.
