Sabry Mohammed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emam Akram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakeem Abdel Haleem having to interfere. Hakeem Abdel Haleem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emam Akram in the 12th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Emam Akram cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hakeem Abdel Haleem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hakeem Abdel Haleem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aino Naguib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taher Marwan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fahmy Safwats short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Salah Yassine to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sabry Mohammed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ibrahim Hanafy came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Menoufis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibrahim Hanafy couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nudaybah's zone, Fahmy Safwat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salah Yassine came out of the goal and Fahmy Safwat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Menoufis's Ibrahim Hanafy in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nudaybah's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ibrahim Hanafy to make the kick off. Aino Naguib charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aino Naguib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Menoufis booed when Nudaybah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aino Naguib didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Metwaly Maged sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salah Yassine skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sabry Mohammed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nudaybah's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabry Mohammed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakeem Abdel Haleem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Hakeem Abdel Haleem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Sabry Mohammed could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Hakeem Abdel Haleem however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute, Ibrahim Hanafy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menoufis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fahmy Safwat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Yassine having to interfere. Menoufis's Ibrahim Hanafy got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Menoufis's goalkeeper Hakeem Abdel Haleem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabry Mohammed. Salah Yassine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibrahim Hanafy in the 85th minute of the match. Hany Qasem hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ibrahim Hanafy struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Salah Yassine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menoufis. 94 minutes into the game, Medhat Fareed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menoufis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nudaybah the free kick. The supporters of Nudaybah booed when Menoufis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Medhat Fareed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
