Fahmy Ezzat had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Aino Othman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hafez Sameh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Fahmy Ezzat made a huge save. If Salah Faisal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Qunaybirah's Nassef Faisal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salah Yassine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Qunaybirah's Desouqy Fahed to fire away a dangerous shot which Salah Yassine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Salah Faisal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salah Yassine having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Qunaybirah's goalkeeper Fahmy Ezzat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabry Mohammed. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Salah Faisal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Qunaybirah's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nudaybah's Salah Yassine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Nudaybah from getting a goal against them. Emam Akram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, Nudaybah's Emam Akram made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fahmy Ezzat was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Nassef Faisal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qunaybirah's supporters rose to their feet, but Nassef Faisal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salah Yassine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes, Nassef Faisal made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nudaybah's Salah Yassine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Nassef Faisal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Salah Faisal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nassef Faisal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qunaybirah's Nassef Faisal got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Emam Akram managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nudaybah's supporters rose to their feet, but Emam Akram was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fahmy Ezzat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
