Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nayef Taha kicked off to start the match. Hossam Radwan struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Hatem Zaky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikhtab. Hatem Zaky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Bahaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ikhtab's Tamer Lateef got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samer El-Saeed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Turaynah's Nayef Taha in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ikhtab's goalie prevented a goal. Kamouna El-Shater made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samer El-Saeed in the 17th minute. When Hanafy Rateb fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turaynah's protests and gave Hanafy Rateb a yellow card for diving instead. Hanafy Rateb kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Ikhtab got a freekick which was hit by Tamer Lateef. Hossam Radwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Zaky having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Abdel Haleem Ghanem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ikhtab's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Haleem Ghanem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Hossam Radwan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Turaynah's Hatem Zaky. Hatem Zaky was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hossam Radwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Zaky having to interfere. A collision led to Turaynah getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hanafy Rateb hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Amgad Batran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hatem Zaky skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hossam Radwan was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Waheed Kordy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turaynah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Samy Abaza came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Turaynah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samy Abaza couldn't finish the play. Kamouna El-Shater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samer El-Saeed in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ikhtab's Abdel Haleem Ghanem got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Nayef Taha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamouna El-Shater having to interfere. Mustafa Bahaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, Ikhtab's Mustafa Bahaa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hatem Zaky was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Turaynah fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Ikhtab's Amgad Batran got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hatem Zaky. Hossam Radwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Zaky having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hossam Radwan in the 91st minute of play forced Turaynah's goalkeeper Hatem Zaky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Bahaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ikhtab's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
