Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ameer Fareed kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Mamdouh Taher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mishlah's supporters rose to their feet, but Mamdouh Taher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fayez Fahmy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezz Abu Trika hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mostafa Metwaly struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mounir Abdel Haleem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dirwa. Dirwa's Fayez Fahmy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Dirwa from getting a goal against them. Mounir Abdel Haleem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Abdou in the 28th minute of the match. Mounir Abdel Haleem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mostafa Metwaly in the 32nd minute of play. Mishlah's Mounir Abdel Haleem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mostafa Metwaly in the 33rd minute of play. Mostafa Metwaly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mounir Abdel Haleem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mounir Abdel Haleem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mostafa Metwaly in the 40th minute of the match. Ameer Fareed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fayez Fahmy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dirwa's Fayez Fahmy got control of the ball when Mamdouh Taher tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Khaled Abdou to make the kick off. Mostafa Metwaly had several of the Mishlah's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Mounir Abdel Haleem as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dirwa's Khaled Abdou got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, one of Dirwa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dirwa. Fayez Fahmy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ameer Fareed, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mounir Abdel Haleem was a little too slow when Khaled Abdou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-2. When Mortada Sameh fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dirwa's protests and gave Mortada Sameh a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Dirwa got a freekick which was hit by Mortada Sameh. After a rather tough play, Dirwa's Bahy Abu Mosallam got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Mostafa Metwaly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dirwa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mostafa Metwaly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khaled Abdou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mounir Abdel Haleem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Dirwa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mostafa Metwaly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mounir Abdel Haleem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dirwa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
