Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Duwamah's Ayoub Hatem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moataz Mubarak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taimour Mustafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luxor's Badr Hafez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayoub Hatem in the 8th minute of play. Fadel Hassan struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Moataz Mubarak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luxor. Duwamah's Moataz Mubarak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Duwamah from getting a goal against them. Saad Baher struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Badr Hafez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duwamah. After having played for 20 minutes, Saad Baher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duwamah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saad Baher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taimour Mustafa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Badr Hafez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saad Baher in the 23rd minute of the match. Sameh Kamal took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moataz Mubarak. Moataz Mubarak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Saad Baher came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Duwamah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saad Baher couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Ayoub Hatem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Badr Hafez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fadel Hassan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ayoub Hatem came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Duwamah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayoub Hatem couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Hamada Mustafa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luxor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duwamah the free kick. In the 46th minute, Hamada Mustafa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fadel Hassan made a kick off. Mazen Ehab kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Duwamah's zone, Fadel Hassan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moataz Mubarak came out of the goal and Fadel Hassan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Duwamah's goal looked a bit too open when Fadel Hassan came free, but Moataz Mubarak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaafar Hamza kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayoub Hatem in the 59th minute of play forced Luxor's goalkeeper Badr Hafez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Luxor's zone, Saad Baher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Badr Hafez came out of the goal and Saad Baher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ayoub Hatem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Fadel Hassan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duwamah's Moataz Mubarak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luxor's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Fadel Hassan was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 88th minute, Ayoub Hatem fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Badr Hafez, passed just outside the right post. Hamada Mustafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moataz Mubarak having to interfere. Luxor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Duwamah for a fine match.
