Sameeh Reda hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Fatirah's goalkeeper Hakeem Raouf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fares Walid. Samalig's Atef Yehia got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 36 in the game by Fares Walid from a close distance when the talented Hakeem Raouf managed to make a qualified save. Fatirah's players were relieved. Samalig's supporters rose to their feet, but Fares Walid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakeem Raouf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fatirah's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
