Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shaker Reda took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Samalig's Ali Hossam got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Aino El-Shater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barakat Emad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shams Khaled in the 11th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Malatiyah's goal looked a bit too open when Atef Yehia came free, but Batran Hazem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atef Yehia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batran Hazem having to interfere. Barakat Emad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shaker Reda's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Shaker Reda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malatiyah's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaker Reda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barakat Emad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barakat Emad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaker Reda in the 36th minute of the match. Shaker Reda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Barakat Emad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samalig were furious when Ali Hossam was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Malatiyah. Talaat Walid stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Barakat Emad. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fares Walid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Samalig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tawfeek Mortada to maneuver through the defense. Shaker Reda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barakat Emad having to interfere. Fares Walid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Fares Walid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samalig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fares Walid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nizar Fareed fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malatiyah's protests and gave Nizar Fareed a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Malatiyah's Nizar Fareed got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Batran Hazem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akram Gameel in the 75th minute of play. Ramy Abu Mosallam hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Malatiyah's goal looked a bit too open when Fares Walid came free, but Batran Hazem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malatiyah's zone, Fares Walid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batran Hazem came out of the goal and Fares Walid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barakat Emad didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Malatiyah's Shaker Reda shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 91st minute Fares Walid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batran Hazem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shams Khaled sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fares Walid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batran Hazem having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fares Walid in the 101st minute of play forced Malatiyah's goalkeeper Batran Hazem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
