Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gaafar Maher started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gaafar Maher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Mortada Safwat made a huge save. Omar Hany hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tanda's Deyab El-hadary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadel Mazhar in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Fadel Mazhar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deyab El-hadary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Othman Khalil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cherm's Fadel Mazhar in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tanda's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadel Mazhar in the 19th minute of play forced Tanda's goalkeeper Deyab El-hadary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaafar Maher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaafar Maher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mortada Safwat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fadel Mazhar came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cherm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fadel Mazhar couldn't finish the play. Fadel Mazhar struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Deyab El-hadary didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherm. When Tanda's Gaafar Maher in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cherm's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Hamza Hafez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mortada Safwat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaafar Maher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fouad Ghanem got free with Mortada Safwat in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mortada Safwat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaafar Maher in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tanda's zone, Fadel Mazhar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deyab El-hadary came out of the goal and Fadel Mazhar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fouad Ghanem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mortada Safwat having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Naguib Moheb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cherm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naguib Moheb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mortada Safwat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaafar Maher, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Gaafar Maher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fadel Mazhar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Deyab El-hadary 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Cherm's Fadel Mazhar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Deyab El-hadary. Deyab El-hadary yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Fadel Mazhar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deyab El-hadary read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cherm's zone, Fouad Ghanem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mortada Safwat came out of the goal and Fouad Ghanem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Tanda's goal looked a bit too open when Fadel Mazhar came free, but Deyab El-hadary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mortada Safwat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaafar Maher, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mortada Safwat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cherm walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
