Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mazen Karam made the kick off and thus started the match. When Samy Mohanad came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Matay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samy Mohanad couldn't finish the play. Saad Yousry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hussien Fahmy made a huge save. In the 6th match minute, Atris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nedal Ezz to maneuver through the defense. If Samy Mohanad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samy Mohanad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Atris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mamdouh Serag to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Basyouny Fares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atris's Hussien Fahmy didn't even have to move. Hany El-Yamani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mazhar Mohab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Mohab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazen Karam in the 23rd minute of play. Mazhar Mohab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hany El-Yamani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hany El-Yamani in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mazhar Mohab saved Matay from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazen Karam in the 29th minute of play forced Matay's goalkeeper Mazhar Mohab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Hany El-Yamani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hany El-Yamani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samy Mohanad made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Matay's zone, Mazen Karam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazhar Mohab came out of the goal and Mazen Karam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd match minute, Matay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basyouny Fares to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Mazen Karam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazen Karam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Atris getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hany El-Yamani hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Saad Yousry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hussien Fahmy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salem Yehia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hussien Fahmy. Atris's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saad Yousry in the 70th minute of play forced Atris's goalkeeper Hussien Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hany El-Yamani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mazhar Mohab made a huge save. Atris's Mazen Karam was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hany El-Yamani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazhar Mohab having to interfere. Mamdouh Serag blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mazhar Mohab having to make a save. Samir Maher kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Nedal Ezz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matay the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atris had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
