Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Samy Mohanad in the 3rd minute of play forced Migirya's goalkeeper Nader Abdel Haleem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Matay's Mazhar Mohab got control of the ball when Zidan Gaafar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Migirya's Magdy Ramez got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Migirya booed when Matay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lateef Hafez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zidan Gaafar came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Migirya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zidan Gaafar couldn't finish the play. If Samy Mohanad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Matay booed when Migirya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Medhat Hosny didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Migirya's goal looked a bit too open when Samy Mohanad came free, but Nader Abdel Haleem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rateb Mowafak kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Samir Maher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matay and the Migirya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Matay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Maher to maneuver through the defense. Mazhar Mohab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zidan Gaafar in the 27th minute. Mazhar Mohab was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Magdy Ramez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magdy Ramez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Magdy Ramez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zidan Gaafar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazhar Mohab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Migirya's goalkeeper Nader Abdel Haleem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Migirya's zone, Samy Mohanad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nader Abdel Haleem came out of the goal and Samy Mohanad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samy Mohanad to make the kick off. Matay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basyouny Fares in the 53rd minute. Basyouny Fares made a great header on Matay's corner, it was just that Migirya's Nader Abdel Haleem managed to reach the ball for a save. Saad Yousry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Nader Abdel Haleem made a huge save. With a little luck, Migirya's Nader Abdel Haleem got control of the ball when Samir Maher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zidan Gaafar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saad Yousry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samy Mohanad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nader Abdel Haleem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saad Yousry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nader Abdel Haleem came out and tried to block the shot, but Saad Yousry slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samy Mohanad in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nader Abdel Haleem saved Migirya from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Matay's Saad Yousry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nader Abdel Haleem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mazhar Mohab came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Migirya's Magdy Ramez. But to his dismay, Magdy Ramez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
