Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mazen Karam took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mahmoud Aebeed hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atris's zone, Ezz El-Khateeb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hussien Fahmy came out of the goal and Ezz El-Khateeb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Atris's goal looked a bit too open when Ezz El-Khateeb came free, but Hussien Fahmy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hashem Ghanem fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dawamah's protests and gave Hashem Ghanem a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atris booed when Dawamah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hashem Ghanem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Zaky Fadel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dawamah's Emad Akram didn't even have to move. Emad Akram made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hany El-Yamani in the 16th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Hany El-Yamani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hany El-Yamani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zaky Fadel during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dawamah booed when Atris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaky Fadel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Sameeh Nassef sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hussien Fahmy skillfully saved the ball. Ezz El-Khateeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hussien Fahmy having to interfere. If Tamer Aaser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Atris's goal looked a bit too open when Hashem Ghanem came free, but Hussien Fahmy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Anwar Sameh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emad Akram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazen Karam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezz El-Khateeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hussien Fahmy having to interfere. After 44 minutes Atris's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sameeh Nassef who took care of the corner kick. Dawamah's Sameeh Nassef was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hussien Fahmy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tamer Aaser made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Atris got a freekick which was hit by Mazen Karam. If Mazen Karam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atris getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sameh Yousif hit a great ball. Ezz El-Khateeb struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Hussien Fahmy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dawamah. The supporters of Dawamah booed when Atris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedal Ezz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Tamer Aaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hussien Fahmy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Atris's Zaky Fadel tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dawamah's Kordy Fares got a free kick in the 75th minute. Dawamah's Emad Akram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hany El-Yamani in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Atris's goalkeeper Hussien Fahmy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezz El-Khateeb. Hany El-Yamani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emad Akram having to interfere. Hussien Fahmy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamer Aaser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hany El-Yamani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
