Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adham Hamada made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Mubarak Mohab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basem Bahaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basem Bahaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mubarak Mohab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Abjij defense, Mubarak Mohab kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basem Bahaa. The Abjij fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basem Bahaa should have stopped the shot. Akoris's Hafez Karam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barakat Abdel Wahab in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Shady Fareed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abjij fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Akoris's Hany Lateef got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Shawky Galal fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abjij's protests and gave Shawky Galal a yellow card for diving instead. Shawky Galal kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Shawky Galal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barakat Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shady Fareed to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Akoris getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Farouk Sobhy hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Shady Fareed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hafez Karam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shady Fareed struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hafez Karam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abjij. Basem Bahaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adham Hamada in the 78th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Abjij's goal looked a bit too open when Adham Hamada came free, but Basem Bahaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basem Bahaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adham Hamada, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Adham Hamada might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basem Bahaa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adham Hamada ran back to his position shaking his head. Basem Bahaa made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Mubarak Mohab sent off a good shot on target. Akoris's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
