Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tita's Bahaa Galal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Rifah's zone, Nayef Nayef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Refaat Shehta came out of the goal and Nayef Nayef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bahaa Galal during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Tita got a freekick which was hit by Bahaa Galal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahaa Galal in the 13th minute of play forced Rifah's goalkeeper Refaat Shehta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdel Hameed Ramez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yousif Emad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rateb Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Tita's goal looked a bit too open when Yousif Emad came free, but Abdel Hameed Ramez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nayef Nayef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Tita's Refaat Shehta threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bahaa Galal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute Rateb Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Hameed Ramez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rifah booed when Tita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shehta Mostafa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tita getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Qasem Barakat hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Abdel Wahab Salem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rifah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tita the free kick. After some careless play in the Rifah defense, Nayef Nayef kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Refaat Shehta. The Rifah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Refaat Shehta should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Abdel Hameed Ramez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yousif Emad, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Rateb Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abdel Hameed Ramez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yousif Emad came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Rifah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yousif Emad couldn't finish the play. If Yousif Emad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Kamel Tarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Fikry Saeed in the 75th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Refaat Shehta's left hand side. Bahaa Galal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Refaat Shehta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Nayef Nayef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refaat Shehta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rifah's Yousif Emad got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rifah booed when Tita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fikry Saeed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rateb Abbas scored 1-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdel Hameed Ramez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95thth minute of the game Yousif Emad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tita's Abdel Hameed Ramez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
