After taking down the ball on Qotur's corner Tarek Rateb fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Magdy Gameel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Qotur. Hany Shehab stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Magdy Gameel. 1-2. Hamdy Seif could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Maher Burhan made a huge save. Deyab Badr struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Maher Burhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balankuma. A collision led to Qotur getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Faisal Nizar hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deyab Badr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balankuma's Deyab Badr got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hussien Naguib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Burhan having to interfere. Maher Burhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deyab Badr, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Magdy Gameel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaled Othman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Balankuma getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hazem Mohammed hit a great ball. A collision led to Qotur getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Faisal El-Ghandour hit a great ball. Qasem Mazhar was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hussien Naguib in the 77th minute of play forced Qotur's goalkeeper Maher Burhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes, Tarek Rateb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qotur and the Balankuma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Balankuma's zone, Faisal El-Ghandour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magdy Gameel came out of the goal and Faisal El-Ghandour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
