Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Bahy Desouqy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Islam Abdel Hameed in the 6th minute of play forced Mansourah's goalkeeper Fouad Saad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abaza Metwaly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Mansourah got a freekick which was hit by Sobhy Sameeh. After a rather tough play, Janaj's Akram Zidan got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Fahmy Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Abaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fouad Saad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basem Medhat went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hassan Abaza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fadel Ismail's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Riad Hisham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Mansourah got a freekick which was hit by Bahy Desouqy. Fouad Saad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abaza Metwaly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The supporters of Mansourah booed when Janaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abaza Metwaly didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Basem Medhat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Janaj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mansourah the free kick. Basem Medhat kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Abaza Metwaly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fouad Saad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Islam Abdel Hameed might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fouad Saad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Islam Abdel Hameed ran back to his position shaking his head. If Islam Abdel Hameed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 84 in the game by Abaza Metwaly from a close distance when the talented Fouad Saad managed to make a qualified save. Mansourah's players were relieved. When Sobhy Sameeh fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mansourah's protests and gave Sobhy Sameeh a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mansourah getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sobhy Sameeh hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Janaj's Hussien Fares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fahmy Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Abaza having to interfere. The Mansourah fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Janaj were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
