Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gaafar Fikry took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aemara Ameen was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Khaled Mazhar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Khaled Mazhar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aemara Ameen made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nader Ameen sent off a good shot on target. Mounir Rabie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Islam Zidan having to interfere. If Seif Alaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Barkhil's goal looked a bit too open when Mounir Rabie came free, but Islam Zidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mounir Rabie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Islam Zidan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdel Hameed Fadel hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Barkhil's Nader Ameen got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khaled Mazhar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khaled Mazhar made a kick off. Hossam Ahmed's late challenge caught a Barkhil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hossam Ahmed helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fanarah fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Barkhil a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdel Masoud Abdel Wahab, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fanarah's Aemara Ameen. 2-1. Fanarah's Aemara Ameen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Mazhar in the 63rd minute of play. Hossam Ahmed, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sobhy Shady hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Gaafar Fikry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Islam Zidan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaafar Fikry in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mounir Rabie got free with Islam Zidan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Seif Alaa's late challenge caught a Barkhil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seif Alaa helped the player get up and apologised. Seif Alaa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Abdel Masoud Abdel Wahab took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aemara Ameen. Fanarah's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nader Ameen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fanarah's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
