If Nabil Abdel Haleem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kemshish's zone, Mohab Deyab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hassan Burhan came out of the goal and Mohab Deyab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nabil Abdel Haleem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nabil Abdel Haleem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemshish's supporters rose to their feet, but Nabil Abdel Haleem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaser Fahmy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mounir Nabil fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kemshish's protests and gave Mounir Nabil a yellow card for diving instead. Mohab Deyab scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hassan Burhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Gamgara getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Basel Safwat hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gamgara's Othman El-Yamani got a free kick in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Gamgara's goalkeeper Gaser Fahmy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nabil Abdel Haleem. In the 45th minute, Nabil Abdel Haleem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdel Masoud Taimour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gamgara's Gaser Fahmy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalil Bahy in the 59th minute of play. Hassan Burhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Masoud Taimour, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mounir Nabil kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gamgara's goalkeeper Gaser Fahmy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tawfeek Kamouna charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tawfeek Kamouna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gamgara's Tawfeek Kamouna got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nabil Abdel Haleem in the 76th minute of play forced Gamgara's goalkeeper Gaser Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nabil Abdel Haleem came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Kemshish fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nabil Abdel Haleem couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Nabil Abdel Haleem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basel Safwat charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basel Safwat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Gamgara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basel Safwat to maneuver through the defense. Khalil Bahy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nabil Abdel Haleem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nabil Abdel Haleem struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gaser Fahmy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemshish. Gaser Fahmy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalil Bahy in the 93rd minute of play. If Khalil Bahy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
