Dalhamu's Mustafa El-Saeed got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abdel Hameed Sameeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Mustafa El-Saeed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Dalhamu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hallaba the free kick. After 43 played minutes Dalhamu got a freekick which was hit by Zagloul Ziyad. 44 minutes into the match, Abdel Hameed Sameeh dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hakeem El-Khateeb, 1-1. Dalhamu's Zagloul Ziyad got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Zagloul Ziyad off the ground. After a rather tough play, Dalhamu's Zagloul Ziyad got a free kick in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Othman Kareem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alaa Thabit kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hakeem El-Khateeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lateef Kordy, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Dalhamu's goal looked a bit too open when Lateef Kordy came free, but Hakeem El-Khateeb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezzat Mahgoub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakeem El-Khateeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdel Hameed Sameeh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdel Hameed Sameeh charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdel Hameed Sameeh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hallaba getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Abdel Hameed Sameeh hit a great ball. Othman Kareem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Adel Kareem made a huge save. Othman Kareem in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adel Kareem, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Lateef Kordy came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hallaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lateef Kordy couldn't finish the play.
