Bakr Refaat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Farshut got a freekick which was hit by Yehia Riad. In the 28th minute Sameeh Faisal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakr Refaat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Desouqy Fahmy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farshut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manqatin the free kick. Manqatin's Saleh Karam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baher Maher in the 56th minute of play. Saleh Karam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baher Maher, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Baher Maher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farshut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baher Maher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yehia Riad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saleh Karam. Manqatin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Walid Baher hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Deyaa Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Farshut getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Desouqy Fahmy hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Deyaa Omar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
