In the 6th match minute, Qulubba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sallam Monzer to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Biqayrah's Metwaly Reda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yousif Akram narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Qulubba booed when Biqayrah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metwaly Reda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaser Aino scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saeed Saeed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sallam Monzer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ramez Rabie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Yousif Akram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qasem Bakr in the 27th minute of play forced Biqayrah's goalkeeper Saeed Saeed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qulubba's Gaser Aino got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaser Aino came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saeed Saeed could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mortada Mustafa in the 38th minute of play forced Biqayrah's goalkeeper Saeed Saeed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abbas Ashraf to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Mortada Mustafa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qulubba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biqayrah the free kick. A collision led to Qulubba getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mortada Mustafa hit a great ball. Qasem Bakr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reda Hafez during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Qulubba fans cheered their team off the field, for while Biqayrah had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
