Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Qirimla's Fathy Fouad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fathy Fouad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yousif Akram having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Abdel Wahab Mahdy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qirimla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Wahab Mahdy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismail Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Yousif Akram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Abdel Wahab Mahdy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdel Wahab Mahdy couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Fathy Fouad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yousif Akram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gaser Aino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sallam Monzer charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sallam Monzer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Qulubba getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezz Ayoub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fathy Fouad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yousif Akram read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Abdel Wahab Mahdy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Qirimla's Fathy Fouad in the 82nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Yousif Akram was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Qulubba through an amazing save. 92 minutes into the match, Qirimla's goal looked a bit too open when Gaser Aino came free, but Ezz Ayoub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Fathy Fouad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yousif Akram. The goal made the score 0-2. Qirimla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
