The referee showed Moheb Amr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Dimisinah:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Helouan:s goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adham Nassef to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Dimisinah's goalkeeper Deyaa Abbas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Islam. After a rather tough play, Dimisinah's Fouad Abbas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dimisinah's goalkeeper Deyaa Abbas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ramadan Shady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziyad Sameh kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Adham Nassef struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Deyaa Abbas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helouan. Mustafa Islam charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Islam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Mustafa Islam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Islam got free with Deyaa Abbas in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramadan Shady's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yehia Basyouny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ramadan Shady scored 1-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yehia Basyouny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramadan Shady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dimisinah booed when Helouan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hosny Samer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Islam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Deyaa Abbas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Deyaa Abbas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mustafa Islam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Dimisinah booed when Helouan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahed Hakeem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Zaky Hamada sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yehia Basyouny skillfully saved the ball. Ramadan Shady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yehia Basyouny having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
