An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hassan in the 6th minute of play forced Munahirit's goalkeeper Mourad Sameeh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Tawfeek Hamada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramy Hamza, 1-0. Ramy Hamza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tawfeek Hamada, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Emam Ramez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Sameeh having to interfere. Osama Ghanem's late challenge caught a Saqqara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osama Ghanem helped the player get up and apologised. Osama Ghanem hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Mourad Emad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mourad Sameeh skillfully saved the ball. Mourad Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emam Ramez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emam Ramez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Saqqara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emam Ramez to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Munahirit's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hassan came free, but Mourad Sameeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saqqara's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tawfeek Hamada 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Munahirit's Osama Ghanem got a free kick in the 44th minute. Tawfeek Hamada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramy Hamza having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tawfeek Hamada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Munahirit's Osama El-Ghandour was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramy Hamza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emam Ramez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Sameeh having to interfere. Aaser Wael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mourad Sameeh made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Samy Riad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 66th minute of the match Osama Ghanem completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Osama Ghanem a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Osama Ghanem hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Saqqara's Mustafa Hassan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mourad Sameeh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Saqqara's Walid Alaa got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Hossam Gaafar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Emam Ramez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mourad Sameeh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Saqqara's goal looked a bit too open when Hossam Gaafar came free, but Ramy Hamza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tawfeek Hamada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seif Hossam charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seif Hossam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mourad Sameeh made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Mustafa Hassan sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
