Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Ma`adi's zone, Seddeq Ali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal Kamal came out of the goal and Seddeq Ali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Islam Hossam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Islam Hossam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kamel Hussien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Taher Farouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamel Hussien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fares El-Yamani, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Armaniyah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fayez Fahed to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Islam Hossam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee showed Fayez Fahed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fares El-Yamani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Hussien having to interfere. Fayez Fahed kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 51st minute Fares El-Yamani suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Fayez Mustafa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Islam Hossam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Islam Hossam took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamel Hussien. Kamel Hussien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Seddeq Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Hossam El-Saeed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ma`adi's supporters rose to their feet, but Hossam El-Saeed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamel Hussien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rabie Seddeq charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 87th minute of the match Ma`adi got a corner. Armaniyah's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hossam El-Saeed ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ma`adi's Hossam El-Saeed to fire away a dangerous shot which Kamel Hussien despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Seddeq Ali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Darweesh Metwaly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Armaniyah getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rabie Seddeq hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Armaniyah's goalkeeper Kamel Hussien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Islam Hossam. 97 minutes into the match, Ma`adi's goal looked a bit too open when Taher Farouk came free, but Kamal Kamal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ma`adi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
