Hassan Samir was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Nayef Mazhar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayyalah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balansura the free kick. Nayef Mazhar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ayman Mazhar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Bahaa Hossam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sayyalah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahaa Hossam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bahaa Hossam came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sayyalah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahaa Hossam couldn't finish the play. Hassan Samir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ayman Mazhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahaa Hossam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Hanafy having to interfere. A collision led to Balansura getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ashraf Mostafa hit a great ball. If Mowafak Reda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
