In the 3rd minute Radwan El-Ghandour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talaat Mustafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moamen Fikry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Talaat Mustafa made a huge save. If Radwan El-Ghandour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radwan El-Ghandour might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Talaat Mustafa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radwan El-Ghandour ran back to his position shaking his head. Akram Yousif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Sharara's Maher El-Sayed nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taimour Saeed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 27th minute Radwan El-Ghandour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talaat Mustafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Sharara's Akram Yousif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taimour Saeed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Akram Yousif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taimour Saeed. Daragil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akram Yousif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daragil's goalkeeper Taimour Saeed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Sharara's goal looked a bit too open when Radwan El-Ghandour came free, but Talaat Mustafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akram Yousif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maher El-Sayed in the 45th minute of play forced Daragil's goalkeeper Taimour Saeed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radwan El-Ghandour struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Talaat Mustafa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daragil. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radwan El-Ghandour was the one to do the kick off. Daragil's Taimour Saeed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akram Yousif in the 52nd minute of play. Moamen Fikry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Moamen Fikry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Maher El-Sayed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daragil's Taimour Saeed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maher El-Sayed was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Sharara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Sharara booed when Daragil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thabit Gamal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talaat Mustafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moamen Fikry in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Sharara's goal looked a bit too open when Moamen Fikry came free, but Talaat Mustafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Maher El-Sayed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sharara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maher El-Sayed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Daragil's zone, Maher El-Sayed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taimour Saeed came out of the goal and Maher El-Sayed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taimour Saeed made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Akram Yousif sent off a good shot on target. Radwan El-Ghandour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talaat Mustafa having to interfere. A hard shot 95 in the game by Akram Yousif from a close distance when the talented Taimour Saeed managed to make a qualified save. Daragil's players were relieved. Sharara's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
