Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sayyalah's Zaky Shady started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akram Yousif got free with Kareem Nizar in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Talaat Mustafa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaky Shady in the 9th minute of play. Kareem Nizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fayez Ramadan in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sharara's zone, Zaky Shady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talaat Mustafa came out of the goal and Zaky Shady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mostafa Maged fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sayyalah's protests and gave Mostafa Maged a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Sharara's Maher El-Sayed dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Akram Yousif who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Kareem Nizar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Zaky Shady managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sayyalah's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaky Shady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talaat Mustafa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maher El-Sayed was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sharara's Akram Yousif got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akram Yousif during the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Maher Emad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maher El-Sayed took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kareem Nizar. Fares Shaker kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sayyalah defense, Akram Yousif kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kareem Nizar. The Sayyalah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kareem Nizar should have stopped the shot. Zaky Shady could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Talaat Mustafa made a huge save. After some careless play in the Sharara defense, Zaky Shady kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Talaat Mustafa. The Sharara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Talaat Mustafa should have stopped the shot. Maher El-Sayed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Nizar having to interfere. Zaky Shadys short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Talaat Mustafa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sayyalah's Kareem Nizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maher El-Sayed in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Sayyalah's goal looked a bit too open when Akram Yousif came free, but Kareem Nizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
