An unexpectedly hard shot by Radwan El-Ghandour in the 4th minute of play forced Sayyalah's goalkeeper Kareem Nizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Radwan El-Ghandour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daragil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radwan El-Ghandour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Hanafy Moheb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kareem Nizar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Moheb Mido. In the 12th minute, Zaky Shady got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Daragil's zone, Fares Shaker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taimour Saeed came out of the goal and Fares Shaker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taimour Saeed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaky Shady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waheed El-Husany scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kareem Nizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Zaky Shady notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Daragil's Taimour Saeed. Taimour Saeed was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kareem Nizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radwan El-Ghandour in the 25th minute of play. Kareem Nizar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radwan El-Ghandour showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. 30 minutes in the game, Thabit Gamal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Zaky Shady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fares Shaker struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Taimour Saeed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sayyalah. After having played for 41 minutes, Hanafy Moheb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sayyalah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hanafy Moheb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Daragil's Moamen Fikry got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Taimour Saeed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaky Shady in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radwan El-Ghandour to make the kick off. Kareem Nizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radwan El-Ghandour in the 51st minute of play. When Zaky Shady came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sayyalah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaky Shady couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Daragil got a freekick which was hit by Moamen Fikry. The supporters of Sayyalah booed when Daragil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waheed El-Husany didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Fares Shaker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sayyalah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fares Shaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zaky Shady's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Taimour Saeed skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zaky Shady in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Taimour Saeed, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Taimour Saeed managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Sayyalah's Zaky Shady fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fares Shaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kareem Nizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radwan El-Ghandour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sayyalah getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anwar Fareed hit a great ball. Fares Shaker's late challenge caught a Daragil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fares Shaker helped the player get up and apologised. Fares Shaker kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Zaky Shady ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taimour Saeed was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Sayyalah's goal looked a bit too open when Radwan El-Ghandour came free, but Kareem Nizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Waheed El-Husany shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kareem Nizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Daragil's Karam Darweesh got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Zaky Shady sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taimour Saeed skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute, Zaky Shady got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zaky Shady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taimour Saeed having to interfere. Sayyalah were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Daragil to leave the ground with a draw.
