Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ahmed Refaat started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Mujiriyah fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Mujiriyah's Ahmed Refaat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fareed Ghali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Besheer Mahgoub having to make a save. Maher Abu Al Dahab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qasem El-Domani in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Tambari getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Samer Othman hit a great ball. After 31 minutes Tambari's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mido Fikry who took care of the corner kick. Maher Abu Al Dahab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qasem El-Domani in the 32nd minute of the match. Tambari's Shehta Tamer got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maher Abu Al Dahab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qasem El-Domani in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Tambari got a freekick which was hit by Hany Faisal. In the 46th minute Fareed Ghali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Besheer Mahgoub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qasem El-Domani made a kick off. In the 56th minute Tambari were awarded a corner. Nagy Besheer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tambari's Ismail Basem to fire away a dangerous shot which Maher Abu Al Dahab despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mujiriyah's Maher Abu Al Dahab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qasem El-Domani in the 58th minute of play. Wael Emam hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tambari's Hany Faisal got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tambari's zone, Ahmed Refaat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Besheer Mahgoub came out of the goal and Ahmed Refaat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Tambari defense, Fareed Ghali kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Besheer Mahgoub. The Tambari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Besheer Mahgoub should have stopped the shot. Besheer Mahgoub made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fareed Ghali sent off a good shot on target. Maher Abu Al Dahab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samer Othman in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Shehta Tamer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maher Abu Al Dahab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Hany Faisal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maher Abu Al Dahab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shehta Tamer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Abu Al Dahab having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mujiriyah eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
