Besheer Mahgoub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shams Anwar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Besheer Mahgoub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shams Anwar, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 7 minutes of play, Alexandria's Khalil Aaser made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Besheer Mahgoub was left in no man's land by his defense there! Besheer Mahgoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shams Anwar in the 12th minute of the match. Khalil Aaser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Besheer Mahgoub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Shehta Tamer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Ghanem Hamza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Shams Anwar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Besheer Mahgoub having to interfere. If Qasem El-Domani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metwaly Mohammed kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Nagy Besheer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ghanem Hamza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shehta Tamer in the 45th minute.
The wind increased when Shams Anwar made the kick off in the second half. If Sabry Zidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Khalil Aaser struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Besheer Mahgoub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria. Alexandria's Shams Anwar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Besheer Mahgoub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khalil Aaser in the 59th minute. Tambari's Besheer Mahgoub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shams Anwar in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shams Anwar in the 61st minute of play forced Tambari's goalkeeper Besheer Mahgoub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Khalil Aaser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Besheer Mahgoub made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Khalil Aaser sent off a good shot on target. Shehta Tamer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ghanem Hamza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qasem El-Domani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanem Hamza having to interfere. When Qasem El-Domani came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tambari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qasem El-Domani couldn't finish the play. Hany Faisal struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ghanem Hamza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tambari. Khalil Aaser took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Besheer Mahgoub. Besheer Mahgoub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Tambari manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Alexandria to win.
