If Raslan Mazhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahgoub El-Shater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raslan Mazhar in the 30th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Shams Qasem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alessandria's Samer Nagy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
