Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ezzat Basem got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tod's goalkeeper Magdy Abdel Haleem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Magdy Abdel Haleem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fikry Fikry, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Safwat Hafez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mahgoub Raouf made a huge save. In the 14th minute Fikry Fikry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magdy Abdel Haleem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shattura's Fikry Fikry got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Basel Abdel Haleem put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Magdy Abdel Haleem. Tod's Magdy Abdel Haleem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basel Abdel Haleem in the 24th minute of play. When Fikry Fikry came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Shattura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikry Fikry couldn't finish the play. If Fikry Fikry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basyouny Abdel Haleem charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basyouny Abdel Haleem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Safwat Hafez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Mahgoub Raouf made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Ezzat Basem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tod's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Basel Abdel Haleem scored to the left of an out of position Magdy Abdel Haleem, making the score, 0-2. When Basel Abdel Haleem, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Magdy Abdel Haleem was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fikry Fikry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Magdy Abdel Haleem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mounir Tarek's late challenge caught a Shattura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mounir Tarek helped the player get up and apologised. Mounir Tarek hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Basel Abdel Haleem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magdy Abdel Haleem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magdy Abdel Haleem came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Shattura's Fikry Fikry. But to his dismay, Fikry Fikry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hossam Radwan's late challenge caught a Tod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hossam Radwan helped the player get up and apologised. Rabie Badr was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Abdel Monsef Mohanad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahgoub Raouf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezzat Basem in the 92nd minute of play. Fikry Fikry had several of the Tod's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Magdy Abdel Haleem as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Shattura could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tod throughout the match.
